FAQS

When is the next festival?
Jubilee Bank Holiday, 3 & 4 June 2022

What time does the festival open?
12 – late

Is the festival free? Do I need a ticket?
Entry into the festival is free. No ticket is required.
Sometimes if it’s a little busier we may need to operate a one-in-one-out system, so arrive early to secure your place at the party.

Are kids welcome?
Yes, for sure! The venue is buggy-friendly and there’s baby changing facilities available.

Do I need to wear a face covering?
With StrEATlife being totally outdoors, the decision to wear face coverings is one of personal choice.

Does the festival take place in the park?
The park is open to everyone but StrEATlife takes place on The Terrace and the South Terrace.

Will there be queues at the food traders?
As this is a free event drawing large crowds, and with all of the food made freshly to order, there may be queues due to demand, but there are plenty of options and we try hard to get the amount of traders right.

Do you have age restrictions in place?
All ages are free to attend and enjoy the festival. Under 16s should be accompanied by an adult. Bars will be operating the Challenge 25 policy serving 18+ with valid ID.

Is the festival accessible for wheelchair users?
We have a blue badge holder parking area (subject to availability) on a flat level approximately 100m from the festival area. The festival area and toilets are wheelchair friendly.

Do you cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free customers?
We offer a range of traders and there should be something to suit your dietary requirements. Our street food vendors change each year, so check the food & drink page to find out what’s on offer this year.

Will the festival still happen if it’s raining?
Of course, although there may be fewer food and drink stands. The festival will always take place come rain or shine. Please check the forecast and come dressed for the weather. If the weather is extremely bad we may cancel the event – please check our website and social media channels.

Can we bring dogs?
Yep, dogs are welcome, however we ask for good behaviour from dogs and owners alike.

Is there on-site parking?
We have on-site car parking spaces but for busy festival days we always recommend getting here by public transport. For more travel information click here.
